About Me
Dr. Lasheka Morgan R.Ac, graduated from the Calgary College Of Traditional Chinese Medicine And Acupuncture. Lasheka is a member of the College of Acupuncturists of Alberta (CAA), Alberta Association of Acupuncturists And Traditional Chinese Medical Doctors (AAATCMD), And NHPC.

​She has been a Body Worker for the past 8 years and started off working on musculoskeletal conditions. After healing her own conditioning naturally with great success. This fuelled passion in educating others to gain their own sovereignty through TCM. Her favorite areas of interest include:

Dr. Lasheka believes in the importance of combining alternative with western medicine together in right relationship and helping clients gain sovereignty over their own bodies.

How Should I prepare?:
There isn’t a lot you have to do before you come to your acupuncture appointment. Schedule your appointment for a day when you have a couple of hours free and don’t have to rush or go for any high-impact activities. Wearing loose comfortable clothing is recommended.
Is Acupuncture Painful?:
Acupuncture is generally a painless experience. Your practitioner will always let you know before you may feel any normal acupuncture sensations, which are mild and typically fade within seconds. The needles used are extremely thin—about the width of a strand of hair. Once all the needles are in place, your body naturally shifts into a parasympathetic state—often described as the “rest and digest” mode—promoting deep relaxation and healing.
Are there Complementary Treatments that go with Acupuncture?:
Dr. Morgan is a multidisciplinary practitioner who integrates a range of healing techniques into her treatments. She begins each session with Structural Alignment—balancing the hips, shoulders, and joints before acupuncture needles are applied. Treatments may also include Tuina massage, fire cupping, electro-acupuncture, flower essence therapy, and Gua Sha, all tailored to support your unique needs.
After your session, Dr. Morgan provides personalized take-home exercises and dietary recommendations to complement your treatment and enhance your overall healing experience.

My philosophy is centered around treating the whole person, not just the symptoms, and empowering individuals to take an active role in their well-being.
